Local video store in a small town in late 90s/early 2000s is finally getting sold to family friendly mega-chain (Hollywood, Blockbuster, etc.)
Sharon has worked there since college and knows most of the customers and gets along swimmingly with the Mom & Pop owners.
Back room porn is going away but the room itself isn't going away.
Maybe she asks mom & pop owners for this inventory which is getting trashed anyway.
Does she supplement her pay cut (owners paid her as the defacto everything and she was still a bargain. Corp she's a wage slave) by meeting a newfound community need? Did big corp misunderstand demographics and the glossy store front tanks (letting her buy it back for a song with tons of new inventory with her newfound cash) Was this her corporate re-takeover her plan all along? Or set up a competitor across the street and all the old clients follow her to her own shop.
