No.

Well,only to the point that it makes day to day life more difficult to live and get things accomplished.

The truth is, things are going to get much, much worse and from some never get better.

The bad things are going to increase both in scope and intensity.

The genuinely good things, while they may not decrease all that much for awhile... certainly they will not be reported with the intensity or depth deserved...unless it fit someones agenda.

At some point minor things will be magnified good or bad until the point is reached were just suggestion of being good or bad will sway a great deal of public opinion, it is starting to happen daily even now.

From what I can figure things are generally pretty much right on schedule.

Phooey! They predicted an ice age back in the 60s/70s, it never happened. They predicted the end of the world when we blew up Japan with atomic bombs. They predicted a lot of shit that never came to be. I have lived through seven decades of predictions that never came true. I'm not about to let soothsayers keep me from living my life.

Besides in Texas everything is back to normal, except for the runaway inflation. I mean come on, gas at $3.88 a gallon for regular?
