Do you remember the pilot for "Fat Albert"? This was a good year or more before the series. It was done as a TV movie, shown in Prime Time. The animation was very different, very shaky and sketchy (not the clean lined Hanna Barberra look of the series). And Fat Albert was this mythic neighborhood character that the kdis were afraid of, and when he finally appeared he came walking down the street like Godzilla, tall as a building.

I wonder if that film is available? I never saw it again after its first run.
