We all have our price. We've all played the game "how much would it take to get you to do X?" Sometimes the price we say for a given activity is so great it precludes the chance of it ever happening. Other times the low barrier surprises others. But that's a game and nothing ever comes from it. But in real life this happens all the time. Maybe it's an unpleasant task our boss makes us do, and we do so to keep our jobs. Maybe you trade a sexual act with a your partner to get something else you want. (Who hasn't received/given a blowjob as payment in kind?) Is this type of negotiation something that you partake in with regularity? Is it a rarity? And is it inherently wrong/bad?
 
I think give and take is a good thing. I mean, sometimes I can convince my wife to have sex with me if I buy her something nice like a car or small island. But she's likes cars and small islands and I like 3-6 minutes of sex. Win-Win as they say in management situations.

I think the problem comes when it's used as extortion or manipulation. There's a saying... 50% of the population control 100% of the pussy. Wise words.

No, it's not. Not anymore. I don't like to and I don't want to. I understand it's necessary sometimes, as in keeping your job. I would feel horrible about my job if I were ever in a situation where I felt that if I didn't do a specific task, I would lose my job. I'd be looking for another job. This isn't something that I see as payment in kind. It's selling yourself out for something you desperately need, and I've done that far too many times in my life without even realizing that I was doing it.

And is it inherently wrong/bad?

I'm not sure about wrong or bad, but it does seem to be the way the world operates. Giving and/or doing with an expectation attached, other than to not be taken advantage of, isn't truly giving/doing out of goodness. It's a business transaction. I don't like to do business. To me, it feels wrong. I also don't like the feeling when you're giving/doing for others out of the goodness of your heart and they try to turn it into a business transaction. I had that happen to me recently and I was very upset by it, upset enough that I walked away from the entire situation and wanted nothing to do with it.

Okay, okay.... It's a hard decision. But I think I would take the few full-on, no holds barred desire. I'm assuming it's not an all or nothing kind of thing, right? You would still have desire at other times just without desire enhancement? This could get confusing.

I'm quite happy that in reality, it just is. Like cake, you can have as much or as little as you can bake.

Once the no hold are gone is that it? I think it would be torture (i know it can be!)to know the 'no holds barred desire' and then never have it again...I would always be trying to obtain that again...never appreciating what I was getting.
