No, the gray topic was not based on your post. I had not read it and the post was born of my own thoughts. That being said, it’s tough to claim complete originality in any thought, as all our thoughts are built on the past, all thoughts and experiences.

I feel your discussion on grey was based off of this discussion

Someone who only deals in absolutes are dangerous, they will follow any order, no matter how horrendous.

Even the law has degrees of crime, that are separated by degrees.

Misdemeanor or Felony
1st degree murder
2nd Degree murder

Manslaughter

Etc.Etc.

Having that sort of sheep like thinking is dangerous, dictatorships are made such ways

Not all thoughts

Someone had to think of a unique style or invention

That's how new inventions, new styles of music and new philosophies are created.

If they didn't think outside the box, we wouldn't be this comfortable and live the way we live.

Today, let’s talk about unlikely crushes. This is a discussion that I’ve had with a friend before... who are the people that you like that may not necessarily be traditionally attractive? But you’re drawn to them anyway. It doesn’t mean they’re ugly. Just maybe not beautiful in the traditional sense.

For me its Juliette Lewis. My god that voice drove me crazy, and the fact that she was quite wild un the characters she played but vulnerable aswell. Not a classic beauty but occupied a few lonely teenage nights

Monday morning. There is a study out there that states Monday’s are actually the most productive day of the week. I would have expected Tuesday or maybe Thursday. Which is how life goes, perceptions not equaling reality. We all most likely would state that we don’t try and manipulate how we are perceived, that what you see is what you get. But reality tells us otherwise, doesn’t it?

This is kinda secret for me. A place to read, watch, chat and explore a side of me that I don't get chance to in real life.

Oh, Papa C - nice to see you around more and asking questions. :) Now if we could just kick the sexual tension between you and Pmann up a notch, it'll really feel like old times.

Mondays and Wednesdays have always seemed the most productive to me from a work week perspective. And of course we manipulate how we are perceived - it can be in very subtle and minor ways, but everyone does it to some degree.

For example, I rarely log in and post a lot in Lit when I'm in a bad mood. I like to keep the mood light and no one needs to experience a cranky Suz_anne, So it could be perceived that I'm never in a bad mood because I don't choose to spew it all over the threads.

Yay...I like that you're here!

Well, I started work at 9 and haven't done anything yet but talk my coworkers....it's 10:30...so I would say Mondays are not productive. But my job is cyclical with less to do this day and more on the middle of the week.

I'm not sure one negates the other. I'm not the same person at work that I am with my family, and not the same person with my family as I am with my friends, etc. They all get different versions of me, but they still get me. What they see is what they get, and my manipulation, so to speak, is just what I'm willing to share of myself based on how much I trust the people I'm with.
