I agree with Dribble that responsibilities in life make false dilemma thinking much easier to accept. Black and white thinking is appealing because it’s reductionistic. It creates simplicity where we don’t want to have to really comprehend. It allows us to feel intelligent without full understanding, and once we feel intelligent, we feel superior. I’m a black and white thinker...but I’m not blind to the gray area.
Absolutely underrated band! Well he was definitely an alternative heartthrob. While everyone was crushing on Duran Duran and Wham, mine was him and Robert Smith from The Cure
I dunno some guys carry it off well!!
I think we want to claim absolutism, 0% chance for failure, the desire to be right. It’s what drives politics these days. But the subtleness of gray is where life lives, nuance thrives here and, I for one, want that nuance.
Few things in life are black and white. Shades of gray let us experience love, forgiveness, and empathy. Knowing that love comes in many forms. Knowing that a mistake doesn't define a person. Knowing that everyone is struggling with something, so try not to be a cunt.
Don’t we want to be intelligent rather than feel intelligent? Sure, the gray might take more effort but the easy route is rarely the most coveted.
It's gray because I fucking hate Meredith Grey.
Easy peasy.
Ahead of his time maybe, although now he looks terribleRobert Smith was a little freaky. He was Goth before it was cool.
Desire to be right drives politics? Not so much. Spin doctors drive politics and a desire to be first drives the press. The desire to be right got left in the 90s.
By right, in this case, it’s correct as to what gets someone re-elected. And that is the key to all things political.
Oh you boys and your big words.
Can you see ‘em? Flyin right over my pretty little head?
Lemme go fix you a sandwich.![]()

A sandwich could work. Can I get that with a side of boobs?
Guys are into boobs these days? Who knew?Just show them some boobs! They’ll be drooling and forget which was is up in about 50 seconds. Well, they’re cock will help reinforce which was is up.
Hi. I’ve missed you.
/me whispers... there are boobs in my profile pic.

There are 2 kinds of Americans. Those that support the Dumpster...and the rest. There is no middle ground.
Same is true for those that support Allia. A piece of shit will always be a piece of shit. There is no middle ground. People that go there, and post "we missed you...glad you are back", then come here and say, "I don't agree with her..." are hypocritical pieces of shit too. There is no middle ground.
Choose a fucking side...and stay there. And don't send me a PM questioning what I wrote, telling me to take a break. Trust me...you never earned that right.
I appreciate pmann's authenticity.
Edit: grammar error that bugged me. And to say I stand 100% behind what I wrote here. There is no middle ground.
Your post suggest, that there's only 2 type of people. People who deal in absolutes are mindless and don't have any individuality. Kind of like mindless Democrats or Republicans, that only support their parties ideals, no matter how ridiculous it is.
There is nothing is authentic about that individual.
If you're moral stand is for, a man who chases a woman around the boards harassing her, then the piece of shit is in your mirror.
Of course you agree with him, you're so predictable. You're a sheep following the herd
