I cannot wait to have my own washer and dryer again. Been using the laundromat for years now.

What feature does your current home lack, that you'd like your dream home to have?

We're reversing situations - I'm in the market for a post-divorce apartment. It's not going to have a good bit of the things that are i my current house, but it will come with one key thing:

Privacy.
 
I've always wanted a fireplace. Sex? Ouch. But I still want a fireplace. I have an outdoor one in the yard but I want one inside.

(My theory on the unusually large number of Nov 30 birthdays on here is that most of them don't want to admit to being Scorpios. As a Scorpio (Nov 8) my response to that is - FU deal with it!)

First off, CONGRATULATIONS T!!! :nana:

Great question too - I would have to say 'basement' since I would love to "finish" it a certain way and then only let certain people see it, like our favorite babysitter, my husband's 20 yr old niece, the UPS guy, either of the two Fed Ex guys, the sweet blonde new couple down the street, Trekka, Chained Up, and a bunch of other of my favorite Lit'ers ! ;) :)

Even though you can't have sex "on" a basement, only in it, do I still get any bonus points?
 
Just thinking about houses (LOL honestly) I've always wanted a southwestern style adobe house. Of course, in this part of California it would wash away come winter, but heck, it would be nice for the summer.
 
Having recently become the sole occupant of this house, I am enjoying the privacy. The dork in me wants a comic themed man cave. Realistically, I'd just like to be able to have people over every once in a while
 
Go full on with the comic themed man-cave. That's the great thing about living alone - your place is yours and you can decorate it however the hell you want.

I'm finalizing the build of my dream home. Oddly the two things I really wanted were 8 ft doorframes (we're huge) and a bathtub big enough for two giants to soak in.

I got the bathtub. Hubby is still going to have to duck through doors for now.

I did build myself and epic sex shower, complete with a bench. I look forward to breaking that in.

I'm in what is likely the nicest home l ever live in. Wish it had the shower that AGG is getting. Also wish it had a bigger walk in closet in the master. Remodeling opportunities for when the kiddos are bigger.

We did the remodel before the kids. I'm so lucky, this house is very well suited to me. We even having living quarters for a nanny when the time comes. I'll be using those.
