Raises hand, I'm one of those that has a constant buzz around. It's been there for sometime now. I love the thought of quietness, but on the rare occasion it's granted, I'm not sure what to do or how to feel. Anxiety a lot of times. My mind uneasy, checking and rechecking things. Someday I'll embrace that warm bubbly bliss of solitude again.

Some days the rain falls, some days the sun shines, and some days both happen.

Discuss.

I want sunshine. It can rain all it wants at night when I sleeping, but no thunder. I don't need that. It can rain without the thunder. I've seen it happen.

I love a good thunderstorm. So beautiful. And the air smells so clean afterward.

The day is what the day is. There is no past. There is no future. There is only today. Try your best to be in the day that is.

He did die young (Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole), but it was four years after this recording in 1997, which was on his Facing Future album (1993). He was a very interesting person and very talented. I have a friend who was totally obsessed with his musical work so as great as the song is, I've reached the point where it comes on and I say "oh hell no". Kind of like hearing "Hotel California" when you live in California.

Bruddah Iz was a great talent and morbidly obese. At one point in his life he weighed over 700 pounds. At 38, he was just another young talent that died way too young.

He was also a Hawaiian rights/independence activist and a powerful example of this in his music can be heard in the song Hawaii 78

Sings Over the Rainbow hoping now it's stuck in your head all day long. Hey, I held myself back from digging up rainbow unicorn porn, I'm rather proud.

I actually like this version too. I have it on a playlist for feel good vibes.
Rain or shine...literally...I love the rain. The sound, the smell, the feel of it on my skin.
Figuratively ...accepting the 'rain ' with grace and acceptance makes the sun feel so much warmer.

I like the rain. Except when it pours. Fuck that hurricane last week.

Some days it rains on the just. Some days it rains on the unjust.

I'll take this Rain Themed song. Thank you, Phil Collins.

I'm surprised Purple Rain hasn't been represented yet.

I like the ferocity of a savage thunder and lightning storm. Then again I love the heat of the summer sun. I guess I go both ways.
