Having been the object of some recent drama , I believe that for most, the "anonymous rant" allows most of us to vent, without appearing as too big an a-hole. If I call Pmann out, for example, then his friends have to call me out, then my friends get into it, and before you know it, it's Civil War (plug for the movie). But if I just say "the pretentious twatwaffle"....well, that could be anybody! It's public shaming, while allowing both sides to save a little face. But I could be wrong...

Ooooh. Drama. Do tell. :D Spill the beans, motherfucker.

I just feel like it's so petty.

And honestly, lots of times you can even tell who the shit is about. So that's nice, but lame that they just don't fucking say it. If I had a dollar for every time I saw,

"Dear Charming, Beautiful Cawked, Classy, Fashionable Lister,

You have effectively ruined all men for me from this day forward. I'll never love again.

Sincerely,

Big Tits McGee"

I would be rich.

Fermina_Daza posted a good one the other night where she named the bastard she was trying to shame. It was so nice to see. I wanted to high five her. I get so sick of that cryptic bullshit. And enough people know to make it annoying, so it isn't really in the name of secrecy or not being melodramatic. It's just trying to stay classy when it's just annoying. Kind of like when women in the south say something like, "Oh her ass looks like a sack of cats wrestling in those baggy pants, bless her heart." It's still a dick thing to do. Saying bless her heart makes it no less dicky. Making it anonymous just makes it lame.

The one thing nice about the GB is that people aren't cryptic. I kind of like that. If someone is being a dick, then they get called a dick. They don't vaguely post about it and then have several of their girlfriends agree, all catty like. I say girlfriends because it is usually girls I see doing this. Not to say that guys don't. It is just more common to have girls post like that.

When you rent a movie, it should be made very clear if half of the movie will be dubbed in another language! If I just want to listen to a movie while I clean house.. dubbing doesn't help me!
Damnit.

so many things on here could be labeled "petty"; who did what to someone else, and where and how....it's all h.s. drama club. For me, calling someone out can be a dick move, also; if we as grown adults can't solve this behind closed doors, then will drawing it out into the middle of the street really help things get resolved? In FD's case, yes, he maybe needed to be called out....as a warning to others, and maybe to call attention to his bad behavior. But just because you prefer Black Sheep over Tommy Boy, doesn't give you the right to question my parentage, my education, or my validity as a human being. I'm trying to take the high road, but do not doubt that I can get as dirty as the next mother fucker when necessary!

Resolved? I said nothing about getting shit resolved. :D I don't care about that. At all.

I just like juicy, gossipy stories. And I want names to go with them. Soooooo... Make with the names.

I'm not saying it's not a dick move to call someone out. I'm just saying it's not any less dickish than vaguely posting it.

LMAO you just don't like intrigue and want to know what's going on without having to think it through. Besides, I thought the whole thing behind the DL thread was being ambiguous enough to convey the thought while allowing the reader to fill in the blanks. You instant gratification types just like that surprise and public shaming thing. Sometimes a little smoke and mirrors convey the message best.

Yes. I don't want to go through that whole intrigue process. I want to know who the soulless hell beast with cow titties is. Or the asshole with a tiny, limp dick is. I need to know these things. And I don't know or care to know most people who post there well enough to be able to piece it together.

Smoke and mirrors convey nothing for me. I need names, motherfucker!

No one holds back my name in a dick punching thread.

Your a testy little reprobate aren't you. :D

Long sleeves for me today.

My question since Papa has check out and Pmann all about the drama. What was your last sex injury?

Since Papa C has declared temporary anarchy, I've got a question I'll ask, if it pleases the people.

So all of these "Dear Lister" threads- they are filled with passive aggressive shitty posts clearly aimed at someone. But people never name names. Why? Does that not get on anyone else's nerves? It makes me so mad. I want to know who the cunt is they are calling out. Or who the evil, cheating asshole is. Just call the motherfucker out already. We don't need your cryptic drama. I want explicit drama, please. So from now on, if someone is gonna post something like that, please name names.

Here here, pmann! I just named a name the other day! Alright, he's probably dead anyway. He was a coffin dodger.

I think pmann can hold his own and doesn't need a posse to come save him from his misdeeds. I'm sure he would deserve your calling out. :D
