Was wondering what signals did you receive that made you want go further with someone but when you received said signal you misinterpreted it and you sent them something in a Private Message that was misconstrued by them and it turned into something that you had no intention of it going in the direction that it did go in?

Late night question just because it popped into my head.

We all love music, it's a given. Let's say you heard a song or a voice for the very first time and had no idea of physical appearance or personality behind it? Would you be willing to have sex with the person that has that voice just based on the one song?

I don't believe Alan Rickman ever recorded a song, so no. I really can be sexually attuned to an appealing voice, but it would take more than that.

Timing is everything. Letting the moment come to you rather than forcing it. No one likes a pushy friend But how do you know when it's time to position yourself for more than banter? It lays somewhere between first hello and "friends for years, not gonna happen" but try too soon and you run the risk of it being seen as too aggressive.

but, what if, that one time you don't sit in that one spot, your team does lose? in an infinite universe, where all probabilities exist, it could happen. do we dare take that chance? or do we defy the gods, and sit where ever the hell we want, consequences be damned!

I guess the short answer is patterns; most people like patterns. I try and use the same bathroom stall at work, park in the same place, sit at the same table in the breakroom. Will the universe implode if I don't so these things? No, but it's familiar, and it's lazy. So we follow what works, and we avoid the unfamiliar. Easy peasy.

Dark Simian said it, patterns. Or routine. Most humans simply like patterns and routine. I have a habit some find funny, when walking over a cobbled road or square, I will always take care my heel is in the middle of a cobble. Always. Because I once got stuck with my heel in the gap between two stones. It nearly ruined my new pumps, nearly ruined my day because of a nearly sprained ankle. So now I make sure I don't get stuck in the gap.
