Late night question just because it popped into my head.

We all love music, it's a given. Let's say you heard a song or a voice for the very first time and had no idea of physical appearance or personality behind it? Would you be willing to have sex with the person that has that voice just based on the one song?

I'd say it depends on the voice. I'm not sure one song, but that is something that could certainly get me thinking that direction. I'm a sucker for a sultry voice...

So a one night stand with a famous rocker and I happen to love his song?! Seems like a no brainer.

Perhaps.....

Timing is everything. Letting the moment come to you rather than forcing it. No one likes a pushy friend :) But how do you know when it's time to position yourself for more than banter? It lays somewhere between first hello and "friends for years, not gonna happen" but try too soon and you run the risk of it being seen as too aggressive.

What is the signal you look for to take things to the next level?

I once dated a guy just because I liked the sound of his voice. Plus I have loose morals, especially as it pertains to musicians. So, yes.

Exactly :D

the "or personality" part takes this off the table for me.
No. I would not be able to sleep with someone based solely on musical talent. With my luck, I'd end up in bed with one of the Hanson brothers.

Back in the day, probably yes. I was sluttier back then. ;)

I'm terrible at this sort of thing. I don't know that I've ever accurately read a situation to take things to the next level when I wanted to do so. Thankfully, I met men who were much better at it than I. :)

I'm not exactly shy, so if I feel that there is a possibility, then I'll go for it. Rarely do i misjudge the situation. People reading is something I feel that I do well.

This ^^ Because I could not sleep with this no matter how great he sounded. According to goggle this guy is an irish rock star.

I say when she tells you her panties are wet, that is a pretty good sign.

OK, Jeeebus, I can't take the toothless Irish rocker any longer. LittleSis, you make a good point, and this is why I don't leave the house without a chaperone.

Let's move this thread onward.

As for the question above, there is no clear-cut signal. For myself? I like to make friends. I like to get to know people. I like others who want to get to know me.

It's not a friend zone. It's a comfort zone.

And maybe one day, if the stars align properly, and we're both in the right headspace at the right time, a little sexy magic happens.

There's a signal?

I don't think I'm shy about letting someone know I'm interested. I'll drop a hint or say outright, but gently, that I like them. If they reciprocate then I'll make a move. But whatever the outcome either way I want them to feel comfortable with me and enjoy just hanging and talking.
