The universe works in strange ways.

Indeed, it does. And as Einstein felt, man's most important decision is whether to believe we live in a friendly universe or a hostile universe. I believe it to be friendly.

For me, when it comes to control I approach it this way - there are a thousand small things in life we have control over, that are truly acts of free will. When I pay attention to the small things, when I deliberately craft them, then the larger things tend to take care of themselves, in part because their path has been set by those small decisions made before the big decisions were even in the picture.

This is impressive, PC. It's always nice to read the wisdom you share here. I truly appreciate, for lack of better words, the way you "are" and how you choose to "be" in the world.

I agree. Those little things don't mean a damn thing in the big picture.
Plus, I'm tired of all the tolerance preaching and all the asses in this world that get offended at every little thing.
Control? Go fuck yourself!

Honestly- If you tell me I must do something; I'll do precisely the opposite (usually).

Please don't go suck an AIDS dick!

Put your AIDS pee pee on the table- I'll whack it with my bull whip.
Such class you have. What trash neighborhood were you raised in?

Did you mean, "In which trash neighbourhood were you raised?"

If you're going to insult me for being poor, please do so with proper grammar. Thank you.

Sideways, left/right, back/forth, you'd swear yesterday was April Fools' day. I'm sure all you little pranksters will be out in full force. And apparently yesterday was Opposite Day. Learned about that one a little too late, that could have been fun.

What's that? A question? A topic? Oh yeah.

When in your life did you gain confidence? Everybody has a little confidence, even if they think they don't. Without confidence you couldn't function. While some people have a lot, and some not quite so much, everyone has it. But when did you first realize it? Did you know it at the time or is it reflective knowledge? And what will you do today that requires a confidence?

I don't think I can point to a moment and say 'THAT is when I became confident'. I've always been confident and comfortable with myself and my abilities. There are moments of ebb and flow, of course, but generally I am a very confident person. I think it depends greatly on the childhood and educational environment.

You are correct. In the future I'll refrain from taking grammatical shortcuts. OK?

On the other hand, if you're poor I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume that is circumstantial.

Your lewd, aggressive, ignorant disgusting comments are not circumstantial, but a conscious choice you make each day. I know scores of poor people who choose to conduct themselves with courtesy and decorum.

Your trash talk is your own insult to yourself.
