We might as well start an IV......![]()
For the topic inclined......when interviewing for a job there is always a line of questioning that is not germane to the position but rather focused on the "soft skills". What kind of tree would you be, what is your favorite color, how did you react when mommy took away your favorite binky because she said you were too old to take it to school? Has there ever been a new hire selection that came down to how those questions were answered or has someone been turned away because they failed that portion of the interview?
I heard "Free for all Friday"...
Oh, c'mon... he's adorable!Words I apparently will come to regret.

C'mon guys, it's not so stupid, is it?
The company I work for uses those types of questions to assess one's thinking skills and you're simply not qualified if you can't think on your feet. I've been with my employer for a long time. When I was hired, there was only one wildcard question. Umpteen years later, there's at least five, dispersed throughout the interview. When I conduct interviews for my boss or when I am hiring team members for a project, you don't have to answer all the questions, there is no right and wrong answer, but you do have to put forth a bit of effort and a little creativity. I've never heard any of the questions posted so far, they are kind of odd, but they do serve a purpose.
Feel free to now boo me or throw things at me if you wish....
