I was a kinky motherfucker from the time I was a pteen. I really was turned on by some of the darker things early on. My environment, in no way, fostered that. I have no idea where it came from. Not in the least. But, here I am, all kinky and shit. I mean, I'm not Fetish Forum kinky. Those bastards can't get off unless the person they are fucking has a peg leg or size 22 foot. But I'm just Playground kinky. Or maybe even GB kinky.

I’m a nature girl all the way.

Does nurture play a part? Maybe. It’s impossible to rule out. There are countless studies documenting when and how imprinting occurs, sexual and otherwise. Where and what you see and experience when certainly seems to make a difference.

Buuuuut…it wouldn’t surprise me if in the long run if the psychological aspects don’t turn out to more inheritance driven that it appears.

Take SNPs for one thing. Initially they were tagged as “junk DNA”, relevant for little other than marking you as an individual and screening who was related to who. These days all those little polymorphisms are revealing differences in how we metabolize drugs, how well our bodies detox, differences in neurotransmitter patterns, as well as a host of other information. The influence of neurotransmitter variations alone holds the potential to influence how we access pleasure.

Some time back I sat in on a lecture where the speaker talked about his research on whorls. (You know, that little swirl of hair at the back of your head.) There was a noteworthy incidence of similar directional swirling (I can’t remember if left or right) in men who identified as homosexual. Not citing that as conclusive nature vs nurture by any means, but that the directional choice of that whorl is genetic.

There is so much we don’t know about our own species genetics. It’s impossible to identify how much is “nature” driven.

Ummm….Not that this was a rant or anything.

Just sayin’. :p

I have no idea if my sister shares my preference for naughty fun. But she has four kids, so, like someone (one of her daughters *grins*) once said: "Weah! They had sex four times!"

I have two. But I am very sure much more than two times sex were 'exercised' to make me pregnant. And my curiosity and eagerness are still high.

I’ll also toss in there with Pmann and say that I can remember fantasizing about “things” quite young. Way before I had any inkling about actual sex.

*zooms out*

And now, I cannot stop saying the word "whorls". :)

Some of my kinks I can easily trace back to early sexualized experiences. But others make no kind of sense.

For example, did I ever see someone squish their boobies into a birthday cake while getting fucked from behind whilst a party horn jammed up her poop chute honks out a tune? No! But daaaaaaaamn....

;)

many years ago, I worked at a telemarketing firm with 2 teenage twins; they were both very sweet, but very sheltered girls. I was taking a genetics class, and somehow the conversation turned to what I had learned in class that day. I commented that they have found a higher degree of homosexuality in twins than in non-twin siblings. I made the joke that one of them was probably gay. Flash forward a few years, and I run into a mutual friend. We are talking and I happen to ask about the twins. She tells me that one has indeed come out of the closet, but not the one I expected. The other has become a total slut. This from a very religious, very sheltered family. So, I believe nature has more to do with it than nurture.

Oh. My. Goodness.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

I just spewed coffee all over my laptop!

S’okay. I didn’t need the coffee anyway. It was my third cup. :D

Nature vs Nurture. The age old debate. Now think about it with respect to all of us here, and our tendency toward "naughty/dirty/kinky/filthy" sexual fun. I think we can all assume that not all of society has these same preferences. Even in our own families our brothers and sisters don't always share the same enjoyments. So how did we become the "naughty/dirty/kinky/filthy" people that enjoy all that we do. Is it something we all possess that is typical suppressed? Does our environment foster the lifestyle? Or has it compounded in us, one naughty act after another?

I haven't given this much thought. I always assumed that my siblings were adopted, that's why they're different from me. LOL!

LITIQUETTE ANNOUCEMENT

'Management' has requested my services for the next week or so at an undisclosed location. Due to the nature and location of the assigment, I will not have Internet access and thus will not be able to tend to things here.

However, all is not lost. In my absence the distinguished Suz_anne has accepted an offer to mind the place. So beginning immediately, the room is hers for the next 9-10 days. She will run the thread in her image and she has full authority to do with the place as she wishes. I trust you will give here the same respect and cooperation you give me.

Suz_anne, Litiquette is now yours!

No internet??? Must be Wyoming.

I am curious have you men folk ever been with a woman that hairy.

I am admittedly born of non-hairy stock and what hair I do have is short, blonde and virtually invisible... sounds great but this includes eye brows and eyelashes so it sucks. If I ever met a woman like that I would be fascinated.
