Literotica voting has stopped working for me

I've been using this site for a long long time, but now when I'm logged in I cannot vote any more.

What is happening ???

This is a point of discussion in the Author's Hangout.

It's been noted that up at the top in Site Announcements, Manu has stated that they are doing some upgrades and backend maintenance starting at just before midnight this morning. (Personally, I think slamming my joke about not knowing that Laurel was into backend stuff was a little harsh.)

Having in my checkered past been involved with some network management crapola, I can tell you that no matter how good the Alpha and Beta tests go, there are gonna be bugs that have to be worked around when virtually any large change goes live. So, the votes and probably a lot of other things that we haven't noticed yet have probably been inadvertently affected.

Other than that, only Laurel or Manu Manu the Slender or one of their designated deputies could say for sure. But, I can tell you that several Author's are already sending PMs to Laurel to notify her of the issue.

But, I won't personally be surprised at any glitches that seem to crop up until the tweakfest is done.

I came to the forum to pose the exact same question. I now have my answer and hope that it will be business as usual again soon
