Literotica Retro font change?

OK, I know it's not me or my computer. I use Literotica Retro as a format setting for the forum. It's suppose to be similar to the old, OLD Lit format, before a software upgrade, a few years back.

Anyway, it's changed. The font is larger now and it seems the font itself also changed. I'd call the font Modern, but the closest I could find on this site is Century Gothic. And this seems to be the size.

I know I'm not seeing things. Does anybody know if Manu is doing anything ? Is this just a temporary thing? It's not terrible and my old eyes can see it better, but I don't think I'm that old. I saw nothing in the site announcements forum.

There is a Large Font Style setting right above the Literotica Retro setting in the pull down menu.

Maybe it got set on the Large Font Style somehow?

No, I've been looking at all of those. That setting has a different font than the Literotica Retro and it seems bold. That one does say (upgrading) so maybe something got messed up.

Like I said, it isn't necessarily a bad thing. It just changed, one day...with no warning. I could get use to it. I just thought it was strange that (1) it changed and (2) nobody seemed to say anything about it.

DVS, I just switched to the same retro skin that you're using, partly to see if I could see what you're describing and partly to see what it looks like.

Though I don't know what this skin looked like a few days ago, it does seem to be more readable than the one I was using before. It's definitely more plain and I think I remember the skin this is supposed to mostly replicate.

The only other possibility that occurs to me would be if you (or your system) accidentally changed the view percentage on the browser window for this url. I have mine tweaked up a few percent above 100 to help my aging eyes. Could this setting have changed without your being aware of it?

Woo Hoo! That was it. I was stumped at how it happened, because I don't ever zoom in on web pages. There is a "zoom in", a "zoom out" and a reset option. I hit reset and the page went back to what I remember it being in the past.

I also know what it has looked like for the last several days, with some text wrapping around to the next line, etc. And with a little experimenting, found out that somehow I, or maybe some glitch, had hit the "zoom in" twice to get the text to wrap around to the next line, as it has been for the last few days.

I didn't know how this could have been caused by me, because I would remember using the mouse to click on the "zoom in" option. And I would have had to do this twice to get the zoom to where it was. But, I also noticed a keyboard short cut for all three of these zoom options. The "zoom in" short cut is 'Ctrl++'. The "zoom out" key stroke is similar, but with hitting the + key, then the - key with the control key.

OK, you might wonder why I'm bringing this up. My reason is I have a new kitten and he is always going at 110 mph. I remember several times when he has walked on my keyboard when I was either typing a post here, or when typing an email. And, while my memory isn't that vivid for some things that happen, I do remember a time when his paws hit the plus key a couple of times as well as the minus key that's beside it. Both browser and email programs are made by the same people and have the same zoom in and out key strokes and they don't go back to the default, when exiting.

So, while I can't be sure he did, the kitten has four paws and he very well could have hit the control key one of these times, too. So, I'm guessing this might have been how it happened. It's all the kitten's fault. This is my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks for the help. And now I also know that just backspacing what the kitten has typed might not fix the whole problem.

Oh, the kitten's name is Bob. He's about 12 weeks old.:cattail:

I'd blame all my misfortunes in life on cats too, but I don't own one. Not wanting any misfortunes in life, you see. :D
