Yes! The results of all those polls I posted last week are now here! Thanks to everyone who voted and/or commented.

So, in the grand tradition of election pollsters who ask 1000 people 'If there was an election tomorrow, how would you vote?' and then apply that to 50, 75, 100 million voters... then this is what we are like on Monday 19 May 2003.

Bees!

A few days after posting this poll, Bees were in the UK news - apparently modern farming methods mean there are fewer flowers for bees to collect nectar from and bee numbers are falling. Not only that, but many flowers in gardens are sterile (don't produce nectar and pollen) and Gardeners are being asked to choose non-sterile plants instead. Also, London hives are increasing and producing higher yields of honey than their countryside counterparts. (If anyone ones to research these stories and post a link then I'll add it here. I can't be arsed.)

One thing I did notice in these polls is that the women are more willing to talk about what they like in bed than the men. The women made far more many comments about sex positions and activety than the guys did, even taking into account the greater number of them on the board.

So there it is, for better or for worse, your average literotican is female, lives in a house, owns a gun, is right handed, eats meat, has a brown front door, has kids but no intention of keeping bees, prefers anal sex doggy style, likes to be submissive when giving blow jobs, has served in the forces, is happy with a trip to the opera or theatre, and is getting laid at least once a month (and a lot more judgeing by the comments )

Politics and religion are too diverse. Besides the women don't get involved so much on those. Those topics are dominated by the men and I like women more than men

I was only having a bit of fun. Some people liked it, others didn't. You need to lighten up. Try listening to some more cheerful music. Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' or maybe try some Leonard Cohen. That should help make you feel a little bit more care free.
