Good morning GG, how goes the work
So far, so good. My dining room floor looks great but the mopboards still need to be sanded, painted, and reinstalled. Then the living room carpet comes up and that floor is next. It's neverending!

Did the kids like drawing on the floor before you covered it?

Or was that you that did that?

We did it together....and it was great fun. I think I'll let them go at it in the living room when we get the carpet up. They thought it was very cool.

My son is the same way. I have these great pictures of him in the downstairs bathroom wearing safety glasses and knocking out plaster with a huge mallet

Cool, he helped me tear off my porch roof.

I am one of those overprotective mothers.......no ladders, nothing dangerous!

I was right with him up the ladder and on the roof, which is fairly flat, I made him sit with his back to the wall.

I'm sure he was fine.......it's my nature to worry about EVERYTHING!

My wife is protective of that kinda stuff, as for me i felt he was ready to help daddy on a project. I hate to tell him no when he has so much enthusiasm to work.

Encouraging his work ethic will serve him well his entire life......you are wise. But remember, it's a mommy's job to be protective.

LOL, I think my children may disagree with you. I am told on a regular basis that I am the "meanest mommy in the world"

I'll gladly cop to it if it keeps them on the straight and narrow and they don't end up in jail someday!

I'm on my way out....have a great day :)
