Our fair last week had the best crowds we have ever had. The weather was perfect all week. One of our members id the Dairy superintendant and we worked together alot this year. Being a city boy I had a great time learing about the dairy cows. Went to his farm and watched the milking operation. Very cool

Way to go! Wish more folks knew what you know now.

I hope that in a couple of years from now you can still go visit that local farmer to see your milk being produced......rather than having to visit Australia or New Zealand! Around here dairy farmers have been dropping like flies the past year.

I've been trying to check out places close to home for my family to take a little vacation in August and I was wondering whether anyone here has been to the Indiana Beach area. We were thinking of staying over for a few days, so I was curious to know what places had good accommodations or which we should avoid like the plague. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
