Was not sure where to put this, as i didn't see a feature request thread.

My Feature Request:

A certain member name ending in X has been drawing ire again,
and while I find his drivel insulting at best, banning would go against free speech.
Therefore, i have a feature request:

I want the ability to Ignore members and authors.
By doing so any post or submission of said Author/Member blocked would not appear on my version of Literotica.

It might be worth thinking for a few moments before posting. You already have the ignore function and it has precisely the purpose you suggest.

Go to User CP (usually at the top left of the header bar) scroll down and you will see the Buddy/Ignore feature.

But the easiest way is to click on the poster's name. There will be a function 'Add <username> to your ignore list'.

The ignore feature does not carry over into the works section, of course I knew about the forum, that is pretty much standard issue on a board, so my request stands:


I want the ability to Ignore authors.
By doing so any post or submission of said Author/Member blocked would not appear on my version of Literotica.

If you sign up to the Literotica Clique newsletter and go for the premium VIP package you can get an add on that gives you the option to hit ignore on the offending posters name and then you wont see any of their posts.

Or for $69.99 I have a portable cone of silence.

It's called not clicking on any of their stuff. Use your brain, unless you don't have one, to ignore them. In real life there is no ignore button, just you ignoring them.

I have no one on my "ignore list." The only way you can tell that I find someone boring, stupid or irritating is the way I actually ignore them. Sometimes I forget to ignore someone that I likely should here or in real life. Then I find myself boring, stupid, or irritating.

Why don't you just screen by author? I mean, you know what you're going to get - and clearly he doesn't take feedback. Otherwise you wouldn't have over a thousand stories (really?) and not a single red H.
