CLOSED FOR TONIGHT DUE TO TOO MANY REPLIES AT ONCE

The decorations were hung on the walls, mistletoe in strategic positions all about the room. Chase was finished helping the girls with laying out the buffet spread and got the DJ to set up in the right spot. There were long sets of tables with red tablecloths and green accented garland lining the walls. A tall Christmas tree stood in one of the corners, decorated in a red and gold theme. The ballroom of the Hudson hotel had never looked so festive. When she had been called in by Lady G to help with this project, Chase was only too happy to give her aid.

The chandelier that loomed above gave the room some class. The invitations had been sent via the Literotica website and stated that on the 23rd of December a party was to be held in New York at the Hudson. Chase had needed the vacation away from her home. Family drama and stress from work had started to give her tension headaches that had become almost crippling. She did plan to fly out Christmas morning to be with her family but for tonight and tomorrow she would be on her own.

In truth there were a number of male members of Literotica that she was hoping might show up, including one that lived nearby. She had recently met one of her online crushes and that had gone beyond fantastic. Chase finally felt at home in her own body, like she knew it better. She also reveled in her sexuality and the power women had over men.

There were a few people standing about, listening as classic carols were being played for the beginning of the party. Later on when they had more people about, they would start playing stuff to get people moving on the dance floor. Chase's blonde hair was worn in long curls that ended a little past her shoulders. She had decided on a classic ruby red dress and heels so that she would be looking festive.

Chase could hear people approaching from the hallway. The doorway had been decorated with green garland, gold and red ribbon that had been sprayed with gold glitter. There were several females and a few males. At the doorway she had set up a table to make name tags. People were instructed to wear their ID name on their clothes. Chase had hers already on, placed strategically over her left breast. She watched the group, wondering who had just walked in the door.

"Just" rolled through the door, and put his thick coat up on a peg. being from California, he wasn't used to these East Coast winters, but appreciated the beauty of snow, even in his wheelchair.

He rolled over to the name tag table, and, dusting a few snowflakes from his short brown hair and suit, found his tag was already prepared. Reaching into his suit pocket, he located a few sprigs of mistletoe (what would a Lit party be without them?), and eyed the room for a place to hang them. As he scanned, Chase, the only other person yet to arrive, caught his eye. He flashed a nice smile. They hadn't met, but he was always glad for the chance to make a new friend.

Dungeons of Dread or DoD as some referred to him now, double checked the address of the 'Literotica Christmas party' he wasn't very familiar with the city and had already turned down the wrong street earlier in the night. He also wasn't used the cold his time of the year and shivered almost uncontrollably walking down the unfamiliar streets. For tonight's party he opted to wear his black long sleave shirt and black jeans. He wore his favourite 'Transformers' Jacket and a long overcoat to protect him from the chill of the night.

When he finally arrived DoD admired the holiday themed decoration that adorned the doorway. The mixture of green, gold and red brought out the Christmas spirit from within warming his heart deeply. As he entered the room he spied the name tags conveniently placed on a table nearby. He rifled through the mix of tags to find his own and pinned it on his right upper chest.

DoD let the music of the Christmas carols brighten his mood and made his way over to the buffet table to get a drink. Looking around he spotted Chase still busily preparing the room and nodded her a greeting.

Chase smiled at the cute young guy in the wheel chair. He seemed excited to be there and she was glad for some male company. "Salut, mon ami." (Hello, my friend.) Her Cajun accent was very prevalent when she spoke in French. Several times during the day, she had been waylaid by someone to be asked about her origins.

She read his tag. "So, Just. It is nice to meet you. I hope you like our decor. The girls put alot of effort into it. My name Gin by the way or Chase. I'll answer to either one. I have been since I got here." Chase wanted to hit the waiter who gave her a leering gaze. The boy was hardly in his 20s. She muttered under her breath. "Not even in your nightmares, junior."

Chase righted her smile. "Why don't you tell me about yourself. I think we may have conversed via PM a few times."

Justabrick smiled, "Chase- pleased to meet you face-to-face! Well, what can I tell you? I've been around, on and off, for a few years. This is my first holiday party round these parts... How about yourself?" He gently fingered the stem of the wine glass in his hand.

Chase waved at the other man who looked rather friendly. "Well, I've never been this far North in my life. Lady G called me to bring me here to help. I needed the vacation very badly. When I'm not on Lit. playing I am working my fingers to the bone." It wasn't an unusual story. Chase had gone to college a few years back and was now paying back for her education.

"I was hoping to meet more of the guys I have met on Lit. A few are very sweet friends and I would love to put a face to those personalities."

Justabrick smiled again, looking round the nearly-empty room. "Well, it's early yet. Still plenty of time for new and old friends to arrive." He eyed a cozy-looking couch in the corner, and imagined the two of them waiting there for others, while getting to know each other. "Oh, hey, can I get you a drink? I hear there's a full bar..."

Chase waved off the offer. "I don't drink. Side effect of living my life. I have a feeling I'd be a cheap drunk anyway. " She made a face, hoping to make him laugh.

"I'm sure more people will start to pore in soon too. Lady G is nothing if not thorough in her efforts. I"m kind of anxious to see what's gonna happen when all of us converge." She laughed. "A room full of people that have sex on the brain almost as a hobby."

Justabrick chuckled at Chase's humor. "Yeah, can't wait to see how this thing turns out... hey, well, if I can grab you... I dunno, an apple juice or water, or whatever, just say the word. Hey, want to grab a seat on that couch with me? My feet are killin' me." He almost groaned audibly at his own lame joke.

Introducing Timmy

While new to the Lit forums, Timmy decided to jump at the chance to meet some of the many people he had read through. The flight from Dallas landed unusually on time and the cab ride wasn't too far it seemed.

He stepped out of the cab as the cold hit him... "Whew!" not quite what he was used to coming from temperatures in the 70's when he left Dallas. Clad black sports coat, slacks, and to finish it off... of course... his black Ropers.

Finding his nametag and placing it on his lapel, he stepped into the ballroom, noticing a very small crowd. One beauty, in particular, catches his eye... walking directly to her.

Reading her nametag, strategically placed, "Chase?" he spoke, extending his hand and taking hers. In southern style, offering a soft kiss to the back of her hand... "Pleasure to meet you... TimmyB here from Dallas."

Here the rumors of a party with Chase I decided to drive on by and say hello to anyone. Usually I'm shy but decided to at least try and be friendly. Stepping inside the schucking my coat and placing it on a wall peg I walk in and looked around and saw the many decorations including the many mistletoes on the walls and suspended above the doorways and went to find Chase and founded her as her hand was being kissed by TimmyB.

He grasped the permanent marker and stared at the empty name tags, confused about what he should write. Roleplayguy2013 was kind of long. And it wasn't like people were going to address him in that way. "Hi, roleplayguy2013, how ya doin'?"

He considered several options -- RPG, RPG2013, Roleplayerguy without the number, Roleplayer without the guy -- and finally, he remembered that just as in real life, none of these people knew him in Literotica either. He'd been reading stories on the erotic web site for years, but had only signed up and begun posting after he heard about the real life Christmas party and knew he had to come.

He wanted so badly to see what these folks were like in real life. Would they be as they described themselves in their profiles? He doubted it. He hadn't completed his own profile because he hadn't wanted to lie; and now, as he stood there, being slowly joined by more and more of Lit's previously anonymous members, he was glad he hadn't. He felt better not having to justify his lies.

Ultimately, he wrote his full id across the top in little letters, then in big letters wrote only GUY in all caps. He pulled the backing off and stuck the sticker to his sports coat. He looked himself over again, wondering whether he should have dressed fancier. Dark gray sports coat, striped blue designer Tee, blue jeans, and cowboy boots; it wasn't much, but he'd been told he looked good in it.

He took a deep breath, released it, and headed in ... immediately struck by the variety of people in the room...

(Can we turn this into a New Years party... please...? :) )
(OOC -- I'm good with that.)

Guy wandered about aimlessly. There were several women there, despite the still early hour, but beyond a smile or a polite greeting, none seemed interested in engaging him in conversation, let alone slipping off to a dark corner and stripping away clothes fir a moment of passion.

It wasn't like he had expected to walk into the party and be fucking some gorgeous babe five minutes later. But, he was an optimist, so... Who knew what might happen before the night was over...?
