Hey,

I'm running the newest version of Firefox and am pretty sure I have installed java on it, but every time I try to load the chat I get "We're sorry, but our chat application requires a Java compatible browser in order to run." Does it make a difference that I am running on Linux? All my other java apps load in Firefox.

Java may be installed but not enabled. Just a thought.

I had the same problem but I was on a server using a 64 bit browser.
I had to load Firefox for the 32 bit.

I just booted up from a Ubuntu live disk, went to the sun 'get Java' page, did the verification thing and then firefox asked me if I wanted to install the java plugin, which I did. Restarted firefox then got into litchat with no problems whatsoever.
