Literotica botched my story post!

I hope you reported the mistakes to Laurel and Manu before bringing it to the board.

Yes, I have tried to alert the proper people but I still felt like going on a rant. I've already seen butchered versions of my work in print and now it's happened again on the web.

To me the feeling is akin to watching your child take his first steps into the world and then seeing him get hit by a car.

And it irks me to know that people are voting negatively on my story even though it contains technical flaws that are not my fault.

Readers won't even get the chance to form honest opinions about the piece to give me any valuable constructive criticisim.

The story has been repaired and reposted. I'm still a little shaken up by the whole thing and my confidence about posting stories has shrunk a bit.
Still, I would like to know what the readers think. The original link is still valid.

Normally when I see threads like this I tend to ignore them, but the way you handled this was totally out of order. If a mistake is made on this site Laurel would be the first to correct it if she was aware it existed.

So coming in here and slagging off someone, who has done a magnificient job in my eyes is just wrong. You should be grateful that this site exists and that it is free instead of bitching about a simple error.

I am glad it worked out for you.

Yes, you are right. I do owe appologies.

I blew up because this isn't the first time something like this has happened to me. In the past, when my work has been misprinted, I felt powerless. This time I had a place to vent and did so without thinking.

Of course, with print publishing the damage is usually done. The mistakes here were quickly corrected and I regret flying off the handle.

Appologies once again to anyone I offended.
