Literotica alternatives?

Now don't get me wrong, I love Literotica, but it never hurts to have a little variety, and I figured that the authors may be the best ones to ask this question. Are their any other good sites out there that provide a large number of erotic stories and other features that are similar to this one. I mean Literotica isn't just a site for erotic stories, it's a whole community when you take the forums and chat rooms into account(not to mention that it's free) I'm pretty sure that Literotica is the best, but is their anything similar that even compares?

Not that I've found. There are many other great story sites, but none as inclusive. And Lit just has a certain friendly atmosphere the others can't approach. This is only my opinion, though, and I'm not aware of every story site there is.

I used to browse all sorts of story sites. Some would only havea dozen, others would have a few hundred. They all disappeared or became pay sites except Lit, which blossomed into the biggest bestest story site I have ever seen. I love it here, and haven't looked for an alternative in years.

Thanks to everyone for responding. Looks like Literotica is the reigning champion. Though it is too bad that their aren't more sites striving for the same quality. There are others that don't even come close to this, and actually expect payment for it.

Actually, there are sites that have the exact same quality. They strive for it by stealing our stories.

Moths ago there was a good site I used to visit, it was all celebrity stories but then I reformatted my hard drive and now I cant find it. I've read in here that Lit used to have a sister site, I'm wondering if that was it.

It does not have nearly the size archive that Lit has, but it's 100% quality stuff, and they do have a decent archive. New stories every Thursday, I think, with the oddities and articles thrown in.

Liter. is IMHO the best. Many authors also post on www.eroticstories.com. Some of its organization & features are very nice but archives are not free. Stories are adfree also at www.allme.com but they try to make $$ by ads & sites/links. Many authors use asstr.org as their repository. Not easily navigable by category or story types.

Yeah, and you have to maintain your own web pages, though that can be a good thing.

There is also Storiesonline, a well-run site, too.
