I get all kinds of feedback... but I've never gotten a threat. It was veiled, but still... kinda scary.

I recieved a death treat over a story, SK. I thought about it and decided it must have been a good story to make the bozo get off his lazy ass and make the threat. Don't sweat it.

What's he going to do. Take a hammer to your AV on his computer monitor? :rolleyes:
 
While it is probably nothing, I agree with Imp as well (and with Matriarch about her av ;) ).

I've also received death threats, but they were in person, from architects and steel workers, and nothing has become of any of them (yet ;) )

I try to be as careful as I can about personal info, but you just never know, and I have little kids, kwim?

No death threats before? You haven't spent enough time on the GB. There's one guy over there who specializes in them. In fact, this sounds an awful lot like him. Lots of people talk big because they feel small. :rose:

I got a couple over an LW story. I showed it to Scheh who had a very interesting take on what type of person wrote it and why. It's probably just an idiot, but better safe than sorry. :rose:
 
Laurel pretty much said they can't do anything, which I figured...

but if I end up in little pieces buried in the desert somewhere, at least there will be somewhere for the police to start with leads... :rolleyes:

The style of writing looks familar. I think I have a couple from him too. Just like Jenny I got them after my LW story. He's posted both comments and sent me an anon.

I could never let anyone hurt a kitten either. I've seriously thought of hurting anyone who would seriously hurt a kitten.
 
Can't possibly hurt to report it.

I am really baffled over this fashion of sending death threats to people because you don't like what they write.

I assume your work has something to do with the building trades...I can see how things can get pretty infuckingtense. What do you do?
