I thought about Tortoise's post and I chuckled a bit. It's just that that person is a tad bit blind and narrow minded. I thought to get in a further huff about the matter, but I realized as I looked up and saw the sunset, that life is too short to harness such bitterness over another's callousness.

Anyway, it's a cool night here in S.F. I just finished getting these old French doors out of the garage and I hung the doors, yet was disappointed the lack of original Victorian hardware, and I washed the dirt off with oil soap. I used concentric circles to clean the first few layers and will labor over it with passion to restore the doors and the aesthetics of yester-years.

Dhalgren, I am closer than ever, yet still distanced over seven hours. I believe it's time you came to release some tension and visit S.F. and perhaps some coffee or dancing with a friend among yours. Then again, my familiar archetype, I am never far and either are you. Each day I am inspired, there are people like you whose words and very existence are as warm as the CA sun.

I have only traveled as far down as Half Moon Bay so far. I am sure if I arrived in Santa Cruz, I would be able to appreciate the views and the CA coast more. I have yert to dip my feet in the water, but I can sense it from the very surroundings and scents in the air.

I am a bit disppaointed and upset, but I have to channel that away and focus on other things.

Yes, it's been a while since we have spoken and a while since we have written, but friendships are timeless, no? Anyway, I look forward to the next time and…talk later via e-mail or otherwise.
