As you can see by the comments from the Playground and GB regulars...my new Fourum, Lancecastor's BDSM Free For All, is not being well-received.

Some think it divisive and that MissT is just another Domme control freak.

Some think it redundant, after all the GB is the "catch all" Forum.

Some think it'll kill the BDSM Forum, which already has virtually zero traffic.

Others think that like Kinktalk, a Forum with nothing but "seriouys discussion" will never attract more than 34 users at once...kinktalk's all time high...and normal traffic of 3 people at once.

Then again....maybe that's exactly what Cym and MissT are trying to achieve.

I don't really get the point of splintering off another forum. This whole place is about socializing; with information exchange being a distant second, even in the supposedly informative threads.

It's about the chickies who started the BDSM Forum and their pals being mostly ISTJ (meyers-briggs) personality types...the're mostly teachers and other minor authoritarians who enjoy putting things in order and punishing those who don't follow The Rules.

You know the type.

Chat, fluff....anything that isn't about 24X7 real time hardcore BDSM...was never welcome here.

MissT has simply taken Cym's outing set-up cat fight (you can mark my words...it was indeed a set-up) as the opportune time to split the Forum into "Serious" & "Light" ghettos.
