Lit chat issue?

I cannot get into chat. It keeps saying.... You can't enter chat right now. Try waiting a bit and (then gives me the option to retry). What happened? Or what is going on. My other name works fine.

Mine just brings me back to the chat page with the button to click to enter chat as my username

Having exactly the same issue as misssugar too. Have followed suggested steps of clearing cache and internet data etc. but issue persists. Thanks
