I have always wondered about a few things, maybe some bloggers can shed some light:

How do you feel about Literoticans (Litizens?) commenting your blog posts?
Do you prefer if they do? Do you prefer if they don't? Does it depend more on the person or the content of the comment?

Did you ever write a blog post hoping that a particular person here reads it? (And did it work out?)

*scratches his chin*
I think that's it for now.

I have a blog but I don't think anybody reads it, at least not from here (though it's linked in my sig). I wouldn't care if Litsters (?) did or not. I know one of my wife's coworkers (a friend, kind of) reads my blog sometimes, but I don't care if he knows I'm on Lit. Hell, he has a crush on me/us (the whole "lesbians = hot" thing)...he'd probably like it! Although if he followed me here, he'd learn more than he wanted to, and wouldn't like what it did to his fantasies!

In general, I care more about the person commenting than what they say. Strangers can say nice things or mean things, and it doesn't matter to me. Friends can say nice things or mean things, and it affects me much more profoundly.

Have never written for anyone here, no.

I don't think anyone from Lit reads my blog (although it's linked in my signature, too). I know of two people who read it and one of them regularly comments. The reader that comments is not on Lit; the other reader used to be and sometimes still pops up here. The closest I've come to writing a statement "for" someone is to express how something currently going on in my life made me see past experiences more clearly.

My goal is to capture memories of what is going on in my life as I dive back into the dating and relationship world, so I pretty much write for myself. I actually treat it similar to a private journal, although out of personal preference, I limit some of the explicit facts that would go into a journal only I read.

Like my posts on Lit, I welcome all comments, even ones with which I disagree. While I have no problem expressing my disagreement, I learn from reading perspectives of others; and sometimes I learn about myself as I react to other people's statements. If someone I respect on Lit comments, however, what they have to say would likely carry more weight than someone who seems to be a Lit lurker. That's true in RL ~ someone I know will have my ear more than some stranger walking down the street.
