I tip based on service, if I get poor service then the tip reflects that. It used to be that for table service if you left a penny on top of the tip it was a sign of displeasure.

Most of my life 15% was a standard tip, now I am told by my children that 20% is the norm.

As for "Tips" or advice I'm a fixer so if I can I'll offer it. However if I don't have advice I think is good or I know nothing about it I'll try and keep my trap shut. Doesn't always work.

Generally I start at 20% as a tipper , or more if they are interacting or serving food or drink. I’ve tipped 100% several times if I just got the vibe the server was having a rough time or was just flat out the life of the party at a bar , restaurant or event.

uber = flat ten present fixed , cash extra if I enjoyed the ride
food delivery = ten percent pizza or something along those lines. Cash
grocery store delivery drivers = flat 10 percent fixed on the apps.

Mail person holiday time , never
trash collection crew , Gator aid or anything like that if I am in the front yard when they stop.

Christmas Caroling peeps , booze or weed if adults and they want it. Kids nothing , a thank you for your service acknowledgment.

Holiday bell ringers , nothing
cookie seller , nothing
