seriously.. I know they're all cheesy and stuff, but they bring back memories.. I remember when I was a little girl, driving around with mom in the Hundai Pony, listening to a Carpenter's tape.. :) it was before I got old enough to know what a diet was, and old enough to like guys.. :) I LOVE memories like that

I actually had to look at your birthdate to figure out what that was :)

Man, my arthritis is acting up...

LMAO... :) yeah... many guys do that.. :) When I was 5, I was an angel.. now I'm a 50 year old guru in a 20 year old's body. :) I know too much for my own good. :)

As soon as I found out that as soon as I became a grownup I'd have to be responsible, I opted for the Kindergarten Lifer plan.

It's really much simpler - whenever I throw a tantrum, I just whip out my card and they call my mommy...

I remember the first time my mom sang a Carpenter's tune to me.We sat on top of the house and she started"calling occupants of interplanetary craft"

:hangs head in embarrassment and says humbly:: I love the Carpenters!

It's such sweet, melodic music and brings back great childhood memories. It's also nice to listen to while cleaning house.

OH, Oh, Oh I love Carol King too, and she's one I'm not afraid to admit to. Where you lead, I will follow is one of my all time favorite songs. Heck, her Tapestry CD is my all time favorite CD.

*blushing*

Ok, so maybe there might be a copy of "Tapestry" wedged between "The Chronic" and "Aqualung"

I just learned recently that she wrote Natural Woman for Aretha Franklin (I knew she wrote it and that Aretha sang it, but I didn't realize it was written specifically FOR Aretha).

God, Aretha's another woman I just love.. and Gloria Gaynor.. :) Wow, I was born far too late for my own musical tastes...

OK, we probably need to add Roberta Flack to this list.

*gulp* and Dionne Warwick...

Oh Lord! And someone was worried about their beau watching gay porn...
