My expereinces with woman are many..... The question I have is a simple one... Why is it...(and I'm being serious) that the darker the vaginal lips are the more of a tendancy of a foul smell. The light pink colors, smell much nicer. Is this a genetic thing? or is it a hygene thing?

And you would be basing this brilliant observation on how many experiences, exactly?

Color doesn't have anything to do with smell, but bacteria, personal chemistry and where a woman is in her cycle do. Perhaps the darker-lipped women you were with had different hygiene habits, diets, etc., and you experienced a coincidence. Or, after the first one had an unappealing aroma, your mind (falsely) assumed it was due to her color, and superimposed that impression on the other women you were with.

Another thing is that our genitals change color with arousal. A vulva can start out a milky pink and change to crimson as more blood enters the tissues, so you can't really say women have one color labia or another since they usually go through a range. Going by your color-smell theory, most women would smell bad as they became aroused and their labia darkened.

Erika is correct. The color of a woman's labia has nothig to do with an unpleasant odor. As women become more aroused their labia become more engourged in blood hence the darker color. If she should give off an odor then it would be dure to extra pheromones being released but that should be a pleasant odor to you.

I can't go along with your conclusion that darker colored lips have any relationship to a womans scent. It just ridiculous. Hygene, hormones, diet and her monthly cycle have everything to do with her scent -not the appearance of her genitals.

For the record I have been with both "generic" and "non-generic" types and can positively testify that there is no difference in scent. I also happen to find dark colored labia very sexy!
