had an upset Stomach last Night :( thought it was my cooking, but everyone else seems to be ok;) as for Hump Day maybe but hope everyone else is having a fun time ;):D
 
I get those far too often LING. I have given up trying to figure out why. I thought it might be too much coffee or pop (I drink too much of both) so I cut it out for a few days - and had an attack. Cut down, I either have them - or I don't. Nerves or stress will trigger it at times - other times, not. It is not spicy foods either, because I've had an attack eating toast. Or grease (although the most queasy I was happened a few weeks back when I had roast chicken and potatoes done in with them - took me hours not to feel nauseous)

I have anti-nausea pills on hand (Shoppers own brand of Gravol, but with almost no side efffects - BTW, I recently found out Gravol isn't available in the US) and use Gaviscon to head off any major upset. Like the flavor, so not an issue and the calcium is good for me / you.

I partially regret that, because I know I would've enjoyed it some other time, but I also know I could eat 5 or 6 of them easily. Weird how I don't really like cooked cabbage, but I will devour those darned things.

Not odd for me though. I don't like lemon meringue pie (although I had a tiny piece over the weekend) but I like lime or orange meringue. Not fussy on raw tomatoes (I will now eat them in a salad if they're cut up) but I lived on Italian food for decades. I loathe macaroni and cheese, but will eat the ingredients separately - just not together (even homemade) There are a few other food oddities, but that's enough out of me.

I assume you meant "fussy" eater? Only fuzz I eat is peaches (and I peel those) or other objects on the female anatomy. :D

I LOVE what I love, like what I like and if I hate it, I won't eat it.

Yes, they were store-bought - Sobeys Deli. I've never made them on my own, as I know they are time-consuming. I do make a cabbage casserole that is similar (had it last week, in fact) but I didn't want to cook last night - so I didn't.

PS - probably couldn't take those pills you described earlier due to my heart. I can't take testosterone for the same reason.

On second thoughts, don't come to Wellington, heavy rain and flooding here - people getting sent home from work (but not able to make it), schools closed and lots of puddles to splash in.

I'm personally fine though, living in town up a few floors.

And of course it's nothing on Nepal, so shouldn't moan too much!
