Hoping all enjoy their day. I have plans for mine.

Mooch (cat) has to go to the vet. I thought he might be seriously ill (he probably isn't) but he's getting checked.

After that, a nap - I haven't slept much since yesterday.

Then, Kristkindlfest at City Hall (German X-Mas thingie I actually like)

Then back home (likely) and some more writing.

Then dinner with a friend, back home - either another nap or more writing and some (on-line) TV on my new, larger monitor.

Had a busy Wknd, my Monitor went so my Hubby took me to Staples they had a 21in L G on Sale early xmas Present yippy :D~ did some other Xmas shopping Sat. slept late Sund. and then did some baking & other Stuff:D

I also have a new monitor LING (for me) - bought it last week. Went up a size too, so now I have a 17-inch flat screen. A really good one too.

Hey thats good Brett:) what do you mean flat screen I had one for years already- anyway enjoy :)
 
I did have a flat screen monitor previously LING but it gave up the ghost. So I replaced it with the old-style monitor for a few years, it cost me $10 and worked exceptionally well (still have it)

However, when I got my middling little windfall last week, after using a good chunk of money for the vet, I also went back to a flat-screen and went up to a 17-inch monitor.

Yeah, having all those Toys gets to be expensive now Brett:(
 
I go to Computer Recycling (which is run by a friend of mine) and it isn't too pricy. My first computer cost me over $1500 and didn't last more than a few years. My current one is about 3 or 4 years old, although it has been wiped / reloaded a few times. My laptop is more efficient, but I don't like it for certain things.

The NEC monitor cost me $40, tax included.
