Techie wise and PC oriented TWAIN is my favourite, it appears they couldn't come up with a name for the system as with most things techie... like RAM (Ramdon access memory) and IDE (Integrated drive electronics) etc, etc... so they named it TWAIN (Technology without an interesting name)

I have said on occasion (especially when dealing with young teenagers on a production) I don't give a rat's butt. They like it - it's silly.
