mine was...more involved.
Ive shared before but to recap, someone I did not know IRL liked me on FB, figured out where I lived based upon my photos and such on FB, used metadata and the other obvious landmarks and such to sort out where I lived, broke into my place and sexually assaulted me. I then quit FB, Twitter, Insta, all socials and paid to have my online presence scrubbed clean.
I now do have reddit and insta, not fb or twitter etc, but basically only use them to read ana rticle or see a friend's baby pic or whatever, I dont do much there. Which is also why most of my pics and content here dont show me...in front of landmarks or outside much or whatever.

Side note: yes, the dude is in jail

It's actually scary how easy that is to do and it's all just the Internet. You don't even have to be a hacker. I'm sorry that happened to you. That's completely fucked
