Haven't seen "Breaking Bad" and I've also seen the answer but I'm still none the wiser until I Google Marie Schader ... would she have ever posed like that? Just too hot for Netflix maybe? 😜 :love:

I took offer A due to a number of factors...

Job B (current employer) still hasnt given me the go ahead that they are offering me another assignment. I couldnt take the risk of turning down offer A and then B selecting a different candidate, leaving me out of work.

Job A does pay a shit ton more. Im not chasing money, but 40k difference is frankly, a lot.
Job B would still be likely on another Microsoft project. While that offers a lot of benefits, its mostly in name recognition, not job satisfaction. I was not thrilled in my department, though obviously not every department at a company like Microsoft would be as bad, it mnight be great, or just ok, or it could be as bad or worse. No ideas.
Job A reached out to me several times over the last few months. They obviously see something in me they want (no smart alecky remarks there pervs!). I felt wanted. Now, Job B is also supporting me, but theres still that mark on my record for being "meh" or whatever, and so I left the door open to return and my manager said they would love to have me back, so thats good too. I left on good terms. I cant argue with that. If I had been there and then somehow hated my second project or someone hated my work/me, then Id be laid off and then there would not be any good feelings between us.

So happy for you and who knows what these new contacts will do for your career going forward. Have a blast I can only imagine how valuable you will be to this new job. They are the VERY LUCKY ONES!!!
 
got several messages that the vampire pic was hot, looked real...etc

well...remember...my tongue is pierced...so that was one give-away
also looks like on MY left side, there is a tooth or part of a tooth next to the fang that maybe shouldnt be there?
the septum piercing looks incorrect
and my face looks close but some of the skin tones and moles/blemishes/freckles etc are not spot on

but yes, at first glance it def looks like me and looks "real" (not obvious AI) etc!

I started to watch it at end of November 2011 when I was in Luxembourg on my 1st international course paid by my employer. I liked but I have not finished it, I don't know why. Probably because I started to watch the Arrow series.

Are you kidding me!? My kids were born 04 and 06 so there were no time for TV series between 2004 and about 2015. :rolleyes: ;)
But if it's still up I can put it on my list for this year.

I have seen it, and I couldn't stop watching it. It is one of the few series I've seen that is truly binge worthy. But it's funny how different people think of different things when they remember it. There was so much to it. I asked a woman at my gym, who was an Albuquerque native, what she thought of it. Her main takeaway was that the crime in it reflected badly on her Hispanic community. I remember most the body parts falling out of the sky and the machine gun in the car trunk, you know, the normal things.

Congrats on a new contract ... high end used laptops are often available at resale shops. Last shopping trip I did I was tempted by $900 Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 2 with
  • Intel i7-1260P @2.1GHz (12 Cores, 16 Threads)
  • 32GB RAM (Integrated)
  • 1TB NVMe (Integrated)
  • Windows 11 Pro
  • 15.6" HD LCD
Ultimately decided to shop & buy midrange, at about half the price, since I retired and don't really need bells and whistles.
