Do you have a friend here that is working on a story, and it just won't finish itself?
Do we know anyone like that? I thought so.

Here's a spot to offer encouragement, and *gasp*, maybe some inspiration.

My reason for starting this thread is because our beloved Matriarch has left me hanging.
(Oh lord.. she's going to call me 'baggage' and I'm gonna get in trouble, LOL.)
We had brain stormed and discussed what would happen in our 'Cut & Dried part 2.'
Well, I started the story and sent it off for her to add the next section.
I haven't seen anything since!
(I know she's had a lot going on with moving and everything else. I am so going to be in trouble, hehe.)

So here, I publicly demand-er, um, would like, to lovingly encourage her to sit for a spell and give me some words.

*Batting my eyelashes sweetly at Mat... blowing kisses... running quickly in the other direction..*

I'm well aware that I've left you and the story hanging. As Min says, give me a few more weeks, and I'll have ample time to work on our story and all the others biding their time in my pending file. (blatently ignoring the part about lighting a fire).

The next few weeks are going to be manic in the extreme, what has gone on in the past year and a half will have nothing on them, and there is no chance in hell of me getting any writing done. But. Hopefully (fingers, toes, ears, eyes all crossed), after that, I'll have weeks and weeks of being able to write, draw, carve.....whatever my decrepit, shrivelling little heart desires.

Promise.

You know I'm a fine one to talk. I had how many stories sitting unfinished on my fried computer? 18? 20? lol. With no back ups, those will never get finished.
And, as we speak, I have.. hmm... about 10 probably, sitting unfinished on this hunk of metal.

It would have taken more than a fire over the past few days, but I do have two stories in the works. One is much longer than my usual, but that's okay. It covers a bit of time through the eyes of a younger woman who is relearning about sex. The other is a shorter piece I am writing for a good friend.

Maybe I'll be smart and remember to bring the laptop to the dentists office tomorrow.
