I m doing good, the reason I have been so tired the last 2 weeks and sleeping non stop is my red blood count is love, just on the limit. Reason a lack of iron.
So on a supplement of Iron now, and food / fruit that is high on it.
Good thing I love liver lol.
But for the rest doing pretty good. My doctor told me yesterday i m a smily trooper... And counting down to July 29 for my last chemo. Yeah.....
Than a month of rest, my reconstruction surgery, and than 35 days straight of radiation.
The only thing that I m not happy about is, I m not allowed to be in direct sunlight.... ohhh well guess no tan lines this summer....

I love you all my sweet wonderful ones.
And yup took some silly pictures just now , scars and all, and my booster is still on, its an injection for 27 hours to prevent infections.

Keep hanging in there. I had two months of chemo and radiation three years ago. You sound like a fighter. Keep fighting. The weight regain is slow,,, but will happen. I have gained 10 pounds per year so far. I had throat cancer and the treatment causes you to lose your taste. Hang tough you will make it.

Emily, Emmy, or just Em... I am unsure how to refer to you, but, given all of the post and replies I have read, I don't think you would take offence to any; and none is intended. We have never met, nor have we exchanged emails, IM, etc - at least not to my knowledge, yet, like many before me, I feel compelled to write.

Like many readers of Lit, I can't explain how I wound up on your thread (save a self-less confession of being horny and following what's most interesting).
Nevertheless, I was taken with a thread in which you commented (and may have posted some photos of interest) well before I learned of your plight with cancer.

Having lost someone I loved dearly to that dreadful disease, I could not help but read about your current battle. I must say, as have others, you are a wonderful example of how to meet this "head-on".

I am not in your shoes, the women I loved has long since departed, and, though I would like to, I cannot predict your future. All I will say is, you have a great attitude and a wonderful support team here on Lit. I can only imagine to what extent it is the same it is in real life. As you know, we reap what we sow. You, obviously are reaping a wonderful return on your investment in people.

Thank you for being a wonderful beacon of hope. You are a light to so many who are around you and read your glowing, positive post. I realize that every day cannot be a rally cry; one of positive hope and felling great. However, on the days you post and share your wonderful upbeat attitude, you inspire us all, and we carry that hope and positive outlook with us and share it with everyone we contact.
