Guess what day it is?? MONDAY!! Emmy comes home!! And is home!! Her plane just landed and she is back in the States. Happy to be back!! She had a great time. But I bet I know who will be taking a nice long nap when she gets home.

Another one of those "please keep Emmy in your thoughts and prayers" kind of post. This time, it's not just Emmy, but also her Mom. Her Mom is not doing well. Emmy just returned from visiting her and did get to spend some time with her, which was good for her. But also heartbreaking. She is in the hospital, and they do not believe that she will get to come home. So as you'd figure, Emmy is having a rough time.
I sent her a robe for Christmas to keep her skinny little bones warm, and she took a picture for me tonight and I thought I'd let you all know that the first thing I noticed besides her beautiful smile, was her cute little tuft of hair. Her hair is coming back so nicely and it looked like a little mini Mohawk lol

Emmy, sorry to hear about your mom. It sucks to see a parent going down hill. I lost one of my parents a few days after Christmas, so it can put a shadow over the holiday.
