My Budding Idea

I had a little start of an idea of a guy who's become an assistant librarian at a large college university and the entire library staff had been female before hand. No one noticed it because of the rotas, but as the guy gets pulled in to do more and more hours, he realizes he's all alone.

The downside if that he's skittish and sort of dweeby, not knowing how to act around women. He even turns a blind eye as one of the other assistant make him do her work as she goes to the back office to spend time with her boyfriend.

Okay, let me try again.

For reasons that were not made clear, the entire six person staff of the library had been terminated for cause the Friday before Jack, Sally, Tom, May, Rhonda and Jane were hired. The new hires met each other at the reference desk the first day on the job.

Needless to say, the stacks were a mess. There were carts of books unshelfed in a dozen directions. Jack and Sally went to the left wing to start cleaning up on their first day. How Fitting

What's so funny is that right now. I'm sitting the library, working on my own writing, and the librarian is sitting (not quite) right across from me.
To describe her; she's tall, possibly around five feet eight inches with wavy brown hair that cascades down her back. She has a gorgeous smile, with beautiful dimples that as visible even now as she concentrates on whatever work she's doing now. I'm not quite close enough to see the color of her eyes but I'm certain that they're more radiant than gems.
