I really blew up a thread over at Authors Hangout when I cited some statistics on criminality and race. A recent story in which I referenced the rioting and crime that has ravaged a city that I know to well really provoked outrage. My fictional adaptation took only slight literary license to describe a city where the ANTIFA BLM rioters had torched the emergency operations center of the Justice Center on there first night of a year of incessant rioting. Since the jail was in the same building, hundreds of inmates were at risk of being incinerated. The Woke Folk also torched the condo tower that the mayor lived in. I don't object to them trying to kill Wheeler because he is an idiot that is screwing the city, but about a hundred other people lived in that tower.

Peruse the following article then contemplate why liberals are to busy being outraged to process the information. I will comment more later.

However; the bottom line is that the homicide rate in America has surged since ANTIFA and BLM went on the warpath to defund the police. The truth that liberals can't handle is that most of these extra homicides are committed by Blacks. Blacks remain only 1/8 of the population yet they now commit over 6/10 of the homicides. Do they really have justification to complain that only a quarter of criminals who are killed by police are Black? The reality is that cops are far less likely to kill African American suspects than white suspects. Blacks are killed at greater rate only because they commit a grossly disproportionate number of violent crimes.
