The accent Hollywood tape is not a confession, it is couched in terms of a generic 'you', and does not show Trump claiming to have done anything. Furthermore, the claim that 'you can grab them by the pussy' actually suggests that 'they' are willing to be grabbed by the pussy by celebrities. Trump may or may not have raped people, but that is not a confession.
With all the easily documented horrible things that our politicians do on a regular basis, such as bombing countries that have not attacked us and with whom we are not at war- something every president since WWII has done, it is disappointing that Americans focus so much attention on allegations of sexual misconduct and make them into he-said-she-said partisan brawls. I would love to see these allegations adjudicated in a court of law, but of course sitting presidents have immunity, and the greater crime is that wealthy people have a pretty close approximation of immunity. But in the meantime, there is a well documented case for prosecuting Trump and a bunch of generals, at least, for firing cruise missiles at Syria, a pretty clear violation of international law. Why aren't people clamoring for his prosecution for that? Get the bastard to the Hague! It's an open and shut case. If the issue is really Trump, why not do it? But the political establishment doesn't want to set a precedent.
It's not hard to believe that Trump has committed egregiously bad sexual acts, perhaps including rape- but until somebody presents evidence beyond that nothing burger tape and an anonymous accuser, it would be much more fruitful to attack him for the crimes he has undeniably committed. Unless of course you're a party to them, or approve of them.

Yes, I've seen the tape a half million times, and I don't work for the Russians so I don't have any trouble understanding that Trump is a disgusting sexual predator pig.

I also have faith that it's all going to catch up with him one of these days and I'm enjoying how miserable he now is in watching it coming at him in so many ways.
