Almost positive this was in the Mind Control category. The only part of the story that I can recall is the main character (a young guy) gets kidnapped by a girl at school's college "boyfriends" (she's just using them for free stuff) and he's stuffed in the trunk of their car. He scribbles a drawing of a snake on a piece of paper and when they open the trunk he uses mind control to make them think that the snake is real. Oh, and he works with training dogs...maybe? Thanks in advance!
