LFS: High School - MC quits football team

I recall the beginning of the story, which goes something like this:

MC is running around the track at High School football practice. Another football player is lagging behind the runners. MC drops back, lagging guy needs water. Coach gets angry that MC is getting water rather than running. Blowout argument between MC and coach when MC quits the football team. Female gym teacher asks MC if he'd be willing to join the running team, which he declines. IIRC, the football coach gets fired. Thanks!
