LF a particular reality alteration story - Editor

The story began with the MC discovering that he could edit the life and reality of his neighbour by making changes in his notebook (possibly a typewriter). The changes are retroactive and ripple out. He becomes a good friend and at one point ends up editing her to be submissive only for her to stay under her abusive gf from before. The story ends up with the abusive gf submitting and a bunch of changes.
Can't remember the name or bookmarking it but it was well executed and really interested in reading it again if someone can help find it.

I don't think that's it. I remember the story, and I avoid anything by Reed James/mypenname3000. (It's definitely not his "Editing Reality" series.)

I can't find it, though. Seems like it would go under Mind Control or maybe Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
