Hello potential VEs.
My name is Rhev, and I've recently begun writing about my past sexual history. I've injected a bit of fiction into it for two reasons, 1. to protect others in my past who may not want these stories to come out, and 2. to make the stories a little more interesting and to flow better.
I had a very good friend of mine who's an amateur author herself editing my stories. However she's up and disappeared on me. Haven't heard from her in almost two weeks, no email, no IM, no facebook... I'd be worried if she hadn't done this to me a few times in the past.
Anyways, I've got about 5 or 6 chapters of my story written, but they are in dire need of editing. I'm willing to suggestions about content as well as obviously mechanics. I realize the guidelines here on the site mention that it would be emailed or 'sent' back and forth between editor and author, but I find google docs to work very well for the editorial process. This isn't however, a deal breaker in any way.
I'm looking for someone who's first language is English, as I feel the mechanics of my writing are my weakest bit, and not the story itself. I've been accused of having a love affair of commas, and that I overuse them too much.
