Letting a vampire bite you to land a sale.

Any thoughts on such a story idea as a very competitive salesperson offering up their blood to a vampire client once they learn that they are, in fact, a vampire? Bending over to land a sale is one thing, but taking fangs in the neck, that's a whole different level of commitment to the sale!

You'd have to decide what, in your universe, a vampire's bite leads to. Sometimes, it kills you. Sometimes, it turns you into a vampire. Still other times, it makes you sick but you can recover. Depends on the author, I suppose. If I were to write a vampire saga, I would want to create a whole taxonomy of what the rules and the situations are for each possible outcome of a vampire bite.

If your readers know your rules, and your salesman knows the rules, it can lead to a very logical (or very illogical) decision on the part of the salesman.
