Let's talk coffee!

I am a coffee snob, but I can do the other stuff, too... if I have to... just not at my house, ever. :cattail:
I can get 2lb pkgs of Peet's Coffee (beans) for $10 at my local FoodMaxx store... (not in my town but not too far away)

Note: I'll drink any brand of coffee if it's got booze in it... course, the booze I'd prefer is Tia Maria... And, now that I think about it, Tia Maria truly needs good coffee made with fresh roasted beans in order to be fully appreciated. :catroar:

You do know you can order it online and freeze it to keep it fresh. I don't do cheap coffee unless I have no other option. But creamer is my weak spot.

Starbucks Pike's Place for my Keurig is my first cup of the day! I used to drink the French Roast, Italian Roast and Sumatra, but they started giving me heartburn so had to take it back a bit. Though for a minute there I may have to give up coffee, caffeine was bothering me. Instead I took caffeine out of the rest of my day but can still have one or two cups of coffee in the morning and no problems!!

I hear people drink this stuff to wake up, how crazy is that?

you don't even need to drink it..
one of my favorite research studies looked at the aromatherapy benefits of coffee :)

Even in my Keurig, I tend to use beans that are locally roasted and put them in a tiny mesh filter. My favorite beans are Jamaican Blue. For convenience when I'm in a hurry, I keep prepackaged Kcups and add enough steamed milk to make them lovely.

I go between the Keurig and french press.. and fantasize about a man with an espresso maker

I have a Nespresso machine. Does that count? *crosses fingers*

Benedictine is our coffee add on of choice. Hard to find, though, so we default to B & B when out. Amaretto at home.

I tried one of those Black & Decker Expresso Mio microwave deals just to see if it was at all passable for an iced latte. It's really not, of course.

I've been coffee-obsessed my whole life, and somehow manage not to be picky. At home, I prefer Dunkin' Donuts Dark out of just a plain old drip coffeemaker like you can get for $20 at Walmart. Out, I go to Holiday (yes, a gas station/convenience store, but their coffee is the best around my area) and I like their Rainforest House Blend.

In any case, I typically like just some plain creamer or half-and-half.

I've always wondered why they've never combined coffee and cigarettes? It would so the tobacco industries problems in America.
