let's talk about tits:

I've never heard of a female being offended by being called a female until today so why do you think you represent ALL females (demographic)? I'll understand if it's a cultural thing and if that's an issue overseas but I've been around longer than you and it's never been addressed as insulting.

I've heard it lots. There's been articles online for years, and there's women talking about it on social media. Actually, the oldest reference I found was from the year 18hundred and something.

Lots of people react to any suggestion about racism, sexism, ableism, etc. with "It always used to be ok!", or the accusations of demonisation. Ruse regularly bemoans the loss of his right to sexually harass in the workplace.

No, nobody speaks for everyone. Sometimes people have internalised discrimination, sometimes it's so much a normalised part of the culture they live in that it's never occurred to them that the language could be problematic, and sometimes people just don't care. But if a significant number of people from a group say that the language is problematic, the reasonable response is to at minimum give it respectful consideration.

My point is that I've (yes, just me) have never equated the word "female" to anything negative. To me, woman and female are completely interchangeable.

I've never heard of a female being offended by being called a female until today so.

You know now, and still you post female.

Dolf has explained it well enough.
She has even posted the definition of female for you to better understand. It's degrading and dehumanising to be referred to as a sexual object, yes. How in the fuck you didn't know the definition of female until just now I don't know.

Side note.
Why did that obnoxious cunt Katie Hopkins behave that way? Was she trying to be cool? Seem relevant? Popularity?

So it's a cultural norm within your area and the people you mix with. Ok, i understand that.

Does my explanation of why lots of women find it problematic make sense to you? I

I don't care what some random female on the internet thinks is offensive. Do you really think one fucking post from some ones and zeros is going to persuade me to think that calling a female a female is offensive?
Who the fuck is Kate Hopkins?

No. If you walked up to me and called me a beautiful male, I would take that as a compliment.

Next, an old white guy will tell us why "boy" is fine

And the histrionics begins!

You and GS don't represent the hundreds of women I have known over the years and for me to hear this for the first tonight? Like I said, maybe different cultures.

Men and women on the internet are reading your posts.

My advice to you would be to never venture out of that little bubble of yours. At least, not until all that bravado and toxic machismo of yours dies.

This is the funniest post of the day.

Lol. Histrionics. If you can't see that dolf is trying to help you I don't know what to tell you. There's no drama here. It's very, very fucking basic shit and you're getting all defensive for no good reason.

I am sure. No. I am positive that in some circles referring to a woman as a female is all goodies. Be smart, and keep that language in that circle is all I'm saying.

Katie Hopkins got fined and booted out of Australia.

"Those females are very smart."

Hang him!
Histrionics

If I referred to white man as "boy" it would not be the same as me, a middle aged white lady, referred to a black man the same way. To a white man, it's playful. To a black man, it's at best insensitive, because historically it's been used to suggest they're less than men.

And no, I'm not trying to turn this into a competition over who gets oppressed most, I'm just trying to use an example of the difference that you've probably already accepted as valid.

Katie Hopkins is, as far as I can tell, a person without a single redeeming feature.

Lol. Help me.

An inquisitive harmless thread started by a gay male, trolled by a straight person who is being white knighted by a gay female.

Lit, don't ever change.

And I'm saying that I HAVE seen it used in a negative way, and that lots of women find it an offensive term. I've fully explained the reason why women (even gay women who personally dislike me) might object, and you've chosen to be exactly the type of person you despise.

And now i must leave and do some adulting.

But you have two (now three) women telling you that it is generally considered derogatory. Maybe take it simply as that it is and don’t do it.

Do you change your position of almost 50 years because a couple of anonymous males tell you that you're wrong?

You forgot the part about the foolish dude who refuses to admit the true definition of female. And by the looks of it, has misunderstood what white knighting means as well.

I don't defend dolf. Please. There's nothing to defend. I agree with the point she's made because she is correct.

If anyone is white knighting anyone in this thread, it's you knighting Rae. "Inquisitive and harmless" yeah fucking righto. Good luck with the sweaty nads. :D

Thin, short summer dress with absolutely nothing on underneath.

Problem solved ;)

Though my tits probably aren't anywhere near as big or as saggy as the OP's balls :D

Oh god. Stand by your beds... I'm with Luk on this. I don't find female offensive at all and am stunned a bit by all this.

Maybe it's safer just to refer to everyone as "cunts".

Agreed, in fact the singular is on my birth certificate as my parents clearly realised great things were gonna happen
